Remote Patient Services Representative (PSR)-US

Pay: $18.00/hour
Location: Remote – U.S.
Work Arrangement: Work From Home | BYOD Required

Make a Difference From Home

We’re hiring an experienced Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers through manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.

If you have experience with healthcare customer service, patient services, medical claims, benefits verification, prior authorizations, medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Support patients, providers, and caregivers
  • Handle benefit verifications and insurance coordination
  • Assist with medical claims, billing, and prior authorizations
  • Track claims, authorizations, appeals, and denials
  • Conduct patient intake and welcome calls
  • Research coverage and reimbursement options
  • Support Patient Assistance Programs (PAP)
  • Process patient correspondence accurately
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Meet established quality, productivity, and service-level expectations

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 4+ years of directly related healthcare experience, or equivalent education/experience
  • Strong healthcare customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze issues and follow established procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently in a queue-based remote environment

Healthcare Experience Preferred

Experience in patient services, patient access, medical billing/coding, claims, benefits verification, prior authorizations, appeals/denials, reimbursement, health insurance, pharmacy, PAP, or pharmaceutical patient support programs is highly valued.


Remote/BYOD Requirements

Candidates must provide their own appropriate computer equipment and have a quiet, professional workspace suitable for handling confidential patient information.
