Job description

Red Bull New York ("RBNY") are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league's ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY's First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University. RBNY are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull GmbH, after which the team is named.
RBNY's First Team is a three-time MLS Supporters' Shield winner and a two-time Conference Champion, while the Second Team is the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Champion. RBNY also operates one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, spanning local partnerships across New York and New Jersey. RBNY's Academy is ranked among the top development organizations in the country.
Position Summary
The focus of this position is to manage and grow Youth Program partnership in Northern New Jersey and Westchester. Day to day management will include program operations, sales, renewals, program marketing and regional coaching staff guidance
RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
  • Primary point of contact for daily management and customer care
    Serve as the main liaison for partner club boards, directors, and coaches to ensure high-quality service delivery and relationship management.
  • Management of club new sales and annual renewal cycles
    Prospect, pitch, and secure partnerships with youth soccer clubs, leagues, and community organizations within the territory to drive revenue growth. Manage the annual contract renewal cycle, focusing on account retention and long-term partnership building.
  • Program development and sales
    Maximize regional revenue by presenting and selling the full portfolio of services, including Club Support, Coaching Services, Team Training Programs, Camps, and Clinics.
  • Implementation of curriculum and philosophy
  • Conduct regular external meetings, presentations, and site visits to integrate our philosophy directly within local communities. Proactively manage client expectations and solve operational challenges to provide excellent customer service.
  • Financial management
    Develop, track, and manage the annual sales and operating budget for the designated region, ensuring initiatives meet strategic goals.
  • Marketing coordination
    Coordinate with the youth marketing team to support initiatives-including social media, e-marketing, and grassroots campaigns-that help maximize program attendance and brand awareness.
  • Management and support of Youth Program Coordinator
    Directly manage, develop, and support the Youth Program Coordinator, ensuring alignment and best practices are implemented across all youth partners.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • Business Development: 6+ years of commercial sales experience, including territory prospecting, proposal writing, closing contracts, and revenue generation.
  • Account Management: Background in premium client relations with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships, such as youth sports boards.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the youth sports landscape, paired with experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and analyzing program KPIs.
  • Youth Coaching Experience: Extensive on-field coaching experience across diverse age groups and levels. Includes experience in coach education and the ability to effectively communicate and implement technical curriculums with club directors.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to travel extensively within the designated region and work varying schedules to reflect our needs, including nights and weekends.
