Job description

The Senior Coordinator, Partnership Marketing (Operations) is responsible for proactively coordinating and supporting the operational execution of partner assets from the point of a deal closing through campaign execution across Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) events.


  • Support PM Operations team for key events and platforms including but not limited to MLS season, MLS All-Star Week, MLS Cup, Leagues Cup, the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour (MexTour), Campeones Cup, and additional SUM/International properties.
  • Work with Partnership Marketing Operations team on day-to-day tasks of partner programs including but not limited to in-stadium signage management, ticketing, product requests, and fan fest activations.
  • Fulfill contractual assets of partner agreements, support game-day programming and monitor sponsor promotions across multiple properties.
  • Liaise with MLS Club Services to manage matters which impact both League and Clubs, ensuring the MLS Club Commercial Rules are met.
  • Maintain weekly status reports/trackers and communicate recaps following internal and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Oversee fulfillment of special requests by partners.
  • Communicate with Managers and the Partnership Marketing leadership team on a regular basis, as well as additional internal team stakeholders who are involved in partner business.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience required

Qualifications

  • Experience in client management and/or sales communication
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Be self-sufficient as well as organized, resourceful and show great attention to detail
  • High level of commitment to produce quality work and convey organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
  • Ability to be available, travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Data Management systems

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
