For over 20 years, MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy has been a leader in providing integrated pediatric therapy services throughout Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to deliver evidence-based, intensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative pediatric therapy that empowers children and their families to achieve their fullest potential. Our neighborhood therapy centers make it easy for families to access a comprehensive approach to therapy, offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, and Feeding/Swallowing Therapy in one center.

Your Impact 

As a Physical Therapist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will: 

  • Empower Children to Thrive – Help children enhance their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life through personalized therapy plans.
  • Deliver Expert Care – Assess, diagnose, and implement targeted interventions to support children with physical, developmental, and neurological challenges.
  • Collaborate with Families – Provide education, guidance, and home program strategies to ensure progress continues beyond therapy sessions.
  • Innovate and Adapt – Develop and modify individualized treatment plans to align with each child’s evolving needs and goals.
  • Work as a Team Player – Partner with physicians, educators, and healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and supportive care plan.
  • Advocate for Resources – Assist in obtaining necessary equipment and tools to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Maintain Excellence in Care – Document progress, ensure compliance with standards, and uphold the highest level of patient-centered service. 
 Qualifications 
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy culminating in the receipt Bachelors, Master’s or Doctoral Degree.
  • Certified by the National Physical Therapy Examination Board (NPTE).
  • Possesses a valid Michigan state license in Physical Therapy. 
 Physical & Environmental Requirements 
  • Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
  • Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

  • Southfield

Status 
  • Fuyll-time

Work Schedule 
  • Typical hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm with a one-hour lunch break. 

  • Can also consider a mixed schedule of 8a-5p and 9a-6p OR possibly 10 hour days as well.
 Compensation 
  • After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
