About Us:
DailyPay is transforming the way people get paid. As a worktech company and the industry's leading on demand pay solution, DailyPay uses an award-winning technology platform to help America's top employers build stronger relationships with their employees. This voluntary employee benefit enables workers everywhere to feel more motivated to work harder and stay longer on the job while supporting their financial well-being outside of the workplace.
DailyPay is headquartered in New York City, with operations throughout the United States as well as in Belfast. For more information, visit DailyPay's Press Center.
The Role:
As an Analyst I, you are the first line of defense to assist in monitoring DailyPay's Data Exchange ecosystem while developing a foundational understanding of the technical tools used to maintain system health. You will utilize standard operating procedures and information from multiple sources to conduct thorough research, and drive the rapid resolution or escalation of issues affecting the data flow between DailyPay and our partners. This is a queue-facing role focused on high-quality execution in a fast-paced environment. You are not simply closing tickets; you are expected to perform deep research into various Data Exchange issues to ensure the root cause is understood and addressed whenever possible.
This position follows a fixed schedule of Wed-Sun, 7am-4pm ET.
How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Manage and resolve Data Exchange related issues with high precision, performing deep-dive research into automated alerts to minimize impact on service continuity, ensure data accuracy, prevent delays, and identify root causes.
  • Identify and confidently escalate operational risks early by monitoring queues for anomalies and unexpected data patterns.
  • Blend standard runbook execution with deep analytical research to resolve complex alerts, proactively identifying and flagging any outdated procedures to leadership.
  • Proactively identify and report incidents, supporting the resolution process from detection through to root-cause identification; with guidance from Analyst II's or Leads when necessary.
  • Support cross-functional partners on complex escalations by compiling all relevant details, ensuring other teams have the necessary context to address the issue without further information.
  • Develop familiarity with payroll or money movement processes to better understand the business context of Data Exchange operations.
  • Build experience identifying trends and anomalies through data analysis to support proactive issue detection.

What You Bring to The Team:
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of relevant experience in an operational or real-time monitoring environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-precision resolution of Data Exchange issues.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and maintain high-quality execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful problem-solver with the ability to leverage available documentation to drive resolutions independently.
  • An aptitude for learning and applying foundational technical skills (e.g., basic querying or monitoring tools) to support troubleshooting efforts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams; ability to support critical business needs outside of standard business hours as needed

What We Offer:
  • Exceptional health, vision, and dental care
  • Opportunity for equity ownership
  • Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Fun company outings and events
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401K with company match
