Job description

Build the Path Forward
At Path Robotics, we're building the future of embodied intelligence. Our AI-driven systems enable robots to adapt, learn, and perform in the real world closing the skilled labor gap and transforming industries. We go beyond traditional methods, combining perception, reasoning, and control to deliver field-ready AI that is risk-aware, reliable, and continuously improving through real-world use.
Big, hard problems are our everyday work, and our team of intelligent, humble, and driven people make the impossible possible together.
We are seeking a Mission Control Specialist - Part Templating Lead to own the quality, consistency, and throughput of part templating across our Mission Control team. In this hybrid individual-contributor and team-lead role, you will do hands-on templating work while also establishing team standards, managing project schedules, and onboarding new team members. You will be the key driver behind making our templating operations repeatable, scalable, and aligned with fast-moving customer and production priorities.
What You'll Do
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation covering part templating standards, workflows, and edge-case best practices
  • Monitor team output for consistency, performing spot-checks and coaching team members to eliminate process drift and maintain high quality
  • Build, maintain, and manage the part templating schedule, balancing team capacity against shifting customer and production deadlines
  • Distribute daily and weekly templating assignments, reprioritizing work fluidly as business needs evolve
  • Onboard and train new Mission Control team members on templating tools, workflows, and quality expectations
  • Evaluate new hire work during ramp-up periods, offering structured feedback until they operate independently
  • Balance hands-on templating execution with operational leadership and process refinement
Who You Are
  • Domain Experience: Prior experience in part templating, robotic weld programming, CAD/CAM operations, or a closely related manufacturing/robotics discipline
  • Documentation-Focused: High attention to detail with a natural bias toward creating clear, accessible, and organized process documentation
  • Schedule & Workflow Owner: Highly organized and comfortable managing team capacity, task assignment, and shifting delivery schedules
  • Patient Mentor: Strong, empathetic communicator who enjoys coaching team members and translating complex workflows into clear training
  • Self-Directed Leader: Comfortable operating in a dual role-delivering individual high-quality output while leading and enabling the broader team
Why You'll Love Working Here
  • Daily free lunch to keep you fueled and connected with the team
  • Flexible PTO so you can take the time you need, when you need it
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 6 weeks fully paid parental leave, plus an additional 6-8 weeks for birthing parents (12-14 weeks total)
  • 401(k) retirement plan through Empower
  • Generous employee referral bonuses-help us grow our team!
