Mission Control I

Work Location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail TX 76244

Work Hours: Part-Time; Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm

Qualifications

Here's What You Need:

Education

        High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

Experience

        6 Months Related Experience Preferred.

        6 Months Customer Service Preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

        BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.

Skills

        Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.

        Excellent verbal communication.

        Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

        Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.

        Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

What You Will Do:

        Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.

        Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.

        Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.

        Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.

        Monitors systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.

        Secures necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control.

        Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.

        Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.

        Assists patients in dressing appropriately for procedures.

        Deliver patient concierge services.
