Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain current applications, including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement solutions
Develop and enforce policy and procedural changes within the development group
Develop coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines
Lead code reviews
Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
Develop and provide support for multiple applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience and or training
6+ years total development experience
4 + years object-oriented application experience
Expert skills in Java web services and applications
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL
Extensive knowledge of object oriented programming
Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards.
Networking knowledge (Sockets, TCP/IP, UDP)
Experience with diagnostics tools (Tealeaf, Fiddler, IE Inspector, HTTP Analyzer) preferred
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience preferred
