Miracle of Life Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Waterbury, Connecticut. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Develop personalized treatment plans by conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to comply with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients, participating in regular team meetings and case discussions.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. Our clients typically face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related issues. Your expertise will help empower them to overcome hurdles and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates with specialization or significant experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment. Additionally, a solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, will enhance your effectiveness in connecting with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000–90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Our benefits package includes:
