Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer & Mini Excavator Operator to join our construction, landscaping, or earthmoving team. The ideal candidate will be able to operate and maintain small but powerful excavators and loaders, perform precision earthwork, and follow all safety protocols on the job site. Experience with both machines is preferred, but operators with strong fundamentals in one can be considered.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate skid steer loaders and mini excavators to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks.
  • Follow blueprints, site plans, and project specifications to ensure accurate work.
  • Perform daily safety checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Remove debris, clear obstacles, and prepare work areas.
  • Work safely in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, wearing required PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other trades.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or site hazards immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and store equipment properly at the end of each shift.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience operating skid steer loaders and/or mini excavators (preferred).
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for small and medium-sized heavy equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and site instructions.
  • Strong physical stamina to operate equipment for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
