What You Will Do
  • Called upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support safe and effective performance for MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling customers.
  • Lead and deliver Site Assessments, continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, and performance tool implementations.
  • Apply advanced methodologies and tools to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control performance for MineStar applications.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Caterpillar teams, dealers, and mining customers.
  • Advise customers on operational best practices and CI opportunities to unlock higher performance.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation to reflect best practices and performance insights.
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and support teams to enhance technology offerings.
  • Support both contractual and non-contractual customer performance commitments.
Skills You Will Have
  • A strong personal safety culture with the ability to influence safe behaviors across diverse mine sites.
  • Experience in surface mining operations.
  • Knowledge of MineStar Fleet, Command for Hauling, or other mining technologies.
  • Strong understanding of operational excellence and mining processes.
  • Experience using performance improvement methodologies.

Top Candidates Will Have

  • Experience with mining technology systems or heavy mining equipment.
  • Knowledge of French or Spanish would be considered advantageous.
  • Professional Engineer or the ability to register as a Professional Engineer would be considered advantageous.
Additional Information

Location: The primary work location for this role is Phoenix, AZ and requires on-site work five days a week. Travel: This position may require approximately 25-50% to Caterpillar offices and remote mine locations. Relocation: Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position. Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship or international assignment transfers are not available.

Summary Pay Range: $112,710.00 - $169,060.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
