• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to devise tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies that support client progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and continued education, staying informed about the latest mental health trends and research.

The clientele served at Refresh Minds Counseling includes individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds, many of whom face barriers to receiving mental health services. Counselors will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance misuse. The commitment to understanding each client's unique experiences helps foster a supportive therapeutic alliance that prioritizes their overall well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated capacity for collaboration within a healthcare team environment.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Specialization in family therapy or couples therapy is highly regarded.
• Experience addressing issues of substance use or trauma recovery.
• Previous work in community mental health settings or with underserved populations is a plus.

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
