Description:

We are seeking a warm and enthusiastic Front Office Manager to join our team. This individual

will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, and play a crucial role in

creating a welcoming atmosphere at our school. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a

variety of tasks with a positive attitude and a genuine love for working with children. This

position is short-term to fill in for our current manager on leave, beginning August 2026 through

approximately December 2026 (exact dates TBD).

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
  • Previous experience in a front office or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and warm interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Google Workplace Apps and basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in working with children and families

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Monitor student attendance and record-keeping
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the school administration
  • Manage the school calendar and schedule appointments and events
  • Support the planning and coordination of school events and activities
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for school-wide basic IT needs, connecting staff and students with appropriate support and resources.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office area
  • Manage inventory for office supplies, facilities, and the vending machine
