Job description

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic board certified/eligible intensivist with proven clinical skills and academic experience? Are you interested in being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team caring for patients with heart failure, many of whom require mechanical circulatory support or orthotopic heart transplant? Are you as equally adept at floating a Swan-Ganz Catheter as you are at managing VA ECMO or an LVAD? Then we encourage you to consider joining the expanding Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with the University of Arizona & Banner University Medical Group at its Phoenix Campus location.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine by ABA, ABIM, ABS
  • Academic experience with the desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows and desire to participate in research
  • Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant is preferred
  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO
  • Background in Anesthesia preferred
