Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to providing stellar rehabilitation services.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, working in collaboration with a tight-knit team of professionals. Our warm and supportive work culture fosters continuous learning and teamwork to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. You will have consistent working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently assess and identify the individual objectives and rehabilitation needs of each patient.
  • Manage a caseload of one patient at a time, providing focused, one-on-one therapy tailored to their specific recovery goals.
  • Create and implement personalized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to maximize outcomes.
  • Execute cost-effective treatment interventions that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
  • Document patient care services meticulously, ensuring clear communication and monitoring of treatment progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, encouraging adherence to their customized fitness and wellness plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to improve patient outcomes and advocate for healthy lifestyle choices focused on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
