We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our manufacturing team in St. Catharines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing equipment while supporting a strong culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and irregularities
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned
• Adjust, repair, fabricate, and replace defective machinery components
• Install and maintain stationary machinery and equipment
• Provide maintenance support throughout the manufacturing facility
• Assist with the installation of new equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance issues
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Millwright experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Previous welding experience required
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work rotating shifts and overtime as required

Schedule
• Rotating 3-shift rotation: Days, Afternoons, and Midnights
• 8-hour shifts
• Standard 40-hour work week
• Overtime frequently required during maintenance, breakdowns, and plant shutdowns
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts may also be required depending on operational needs

Compensation

• $45.57/hour
• $3.70/hour Cost of Living Allowance
• Afternoon shift premium: $0.75/hour
• Midnight shift premium: $1.00/hour
