Their duties often include transporting tools, cleaning work areas, preparing materials, and helping with the alignment and assembly of machinery. They work in factories, construction sites, or plants where heavy equipment is used. This role is often an entry-level position for those looking to build a career in industrial mechanics or maintenance. Millwright Assistants need to be physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to learn technical skills.

What are the typical responsibilities of a millwright assistant during a machinery installation project?

As a Millwright Assistant, you will support the lead millwrights by preparing tools and materials, assisting with the assembly and alignment of machinery, and following safety protocols on-site.
