Nous recherchons un Millwright dedie pour rejoindre notre equipe de service sur le terrain. Dans ce role, vous serez au cur de la reparation, de l'entretien et de l'installation d'equipements essentiels pour les processus miniers. Vous travaillerez sous la direction de notre Responsable du Service sur le Terrain pour la Comminution, et apprecierez la variete des missions sur differents sites.


Ce poste est base a Montreal, Quebec ou Sudbury, Ontario, et necessitera jusqu'a 70 % de deplacements vers divers sites de travail, y compris des periodes prolongees, vous offrant ainsi des environnements de travail dynamiques et diversifies.

Vous ferez partie d'une equipe d'experts en service sur le terrain passionnes par la resolution de problemes et la realisation de taches. Notre equipe est repartie sur plusieurs sites et collabore etroitement avec les equipes des Operations, de l'Administration, de la Comptabilite et du Support aux Services sur le Terrain pour garantir une prestation de service fluide.

  • Executer avec Precision : Sous la direction d'un representant ou superviseur du service Metso, vous effectuerez des taches de maintenance mecanique, des remplacements de composants d'usure et d'autres taches critiques.
  • Diagnostiquer et Reparer : Diagnostiquer les problemes mecaniques, mettre en uvre des actions correctives et assister aux reparations pour maintenir les equipements en fonctionnement efficace.
  • S'adapter et Innover : Accomplir des taches diverses et des projets speciaux selon les besoins, demontrant votre capacite d'adaptation et vos competences en resolution de problemes.


Qui vous etes:

  • Experience : Experience en tant que Millwright/Technicien, idealement avec une experience pratique des broyeurs, des concasseurs et d'autres equipements de processus.
  • Certification : Certification de Millwright ou experience equivalente.
  • Competences en Communication : Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite en anglais ; la maitrise du francais est un atout.
  • Competences Techniques : Competences en lecture et comprehension de plans mecaniques en systemes anglais et metrique.
  • Competences Informatiques : Connaissances de base en informatique (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Introduction:
 

We're looking for a dedicated Millwright to join our Field Service team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of repairing, maintaining, and installing critical mining process equipment. You'll work under the guidance of our Field Service Manager for Comminution, and enjoy the variety of working at different job sites.

This position is based in Montreal, Quebec or Sudbury, Ontario. And will require up to 70% travel to various job sites, including extended periods, providing you with dynamic and diverse work environments.
 

The team you will join:
 

You'll be part of a team of field service experts who are passionate about solving problems and getting things done. Our team is spread across various locations and works closely with Operations, Administration, Accounting, and Field Service Support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and Plan: Before heading to a field assignment, you'll study and plan the scope of work, review drawings, and gather necessary resources to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Execute with Precision: Under the guidance of a Metso service representative or supervisor, you'll perform mechanical maintenance, wear component replacements, and other critical tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues, implement corrective actions, and assist with repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Tackle miscellaneous duties and special projects as needed, showcasing your adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Who you are:

  • Experience as a Millwright/Mechanic, ideally with hands-on experience with grinding mills, crushers, and other process machinery.
  • Hold a Millwright certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a bonus.
  • Skilled in reading and understanding mechanical drawings in both English and Metric Systems.
  • Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Possess a valid Canadian passport or eligible to obtain one within required timeframe
