Position Description
Position will be responsible for dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints, and installing equipment.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail. In this position, you should also be able to make decisions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with little to no supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Trouble shoots maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement.
  • Help maintain equipment parts lists and perform daily PMs on equipment.
  • Assist in set-up of equipment as needed.
  • Adheres to company safety, environmental and property protection policies and complies with appropriate codes on work performed.
  • Occasional heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, climbing, reaching, bending and working in awkward positions are required. May be exposed to accumulations of dirt and grease, smoke, heat and fumes.
  • Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace

Required Education & Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a millwright or similar job.
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment and machinery.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Must have high school education or equivalent
