Job description

Location: Ishpeming, MI
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Millwrights at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Millwrights are responsible for inspecting, installing, adjusting, repairing and maintaining plant machinery.
Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, assemble, replace defective parts, and adjust plant machinery
  • Use torch to cut and heat
  • Perform welding and air arc cutting
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required
  • Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
  • Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be willing to work overtime
