Job description

Required Experience:
  • Must have 2 years millwright mechanical experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment to be considered.
  • Knowledge of the components of concrete and sand and gravel plants.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boiler and air systems.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Currently, we are only able to consider candidates who are U.S. Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens for this position. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

What you will do:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to company safety processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

  • Construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants and provide maintenance and repair on all equipment in a timely manner.
  • Perform all maintenance operations (welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems) in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Maintain equipment such as feed systems, conveying systems, scrubber systems, shaker systems, classifying systems, discharge hopper systems, weighing systems, cement storage systems, central mixer systems, load-carrying systems, drive systems, water systems, air systems, electrical systems, crusher systems, hydraulic systems, recycling systems, structural systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Inspect equipment in accordance with the company's Prescribed Inspection Schedule and complete equipment inspection and reports.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
