Job description

M3, Inc. is a leading Masonry and General Class A Contractor, proudly serving Central Virginia for the past 28 years.
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team, with the drive and dedication to lead and grow our Millwork Division. The right candidate will produce high-quality millwork, as well as manage our Millshop, and supervise one other employee.
Rate of pay is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, with a competitive benefits' package. A current résumé is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Craft high-quality millwork, casework, and other architectural décor.
  • Work with project managers and clients on custom millwork projects
  • Conduct site visits and on-site measuring, as needed
  • Generate detailed and accurate shop drawings
  • Order material based on project specifications
  • Maintain project schedules and adhere to deadlines
  • Communicate with project managers on work status and immediately address issues
  • Supervise and manage other Millwork shop team members
  • Maintain Millwork shop inventory and workspace cleanliness, organization, and safety.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years' Carpentry and Millwork experience
  • Complete understanding of materials and finishes in the woodworking industry
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and sketches
  • Ability to operate various hand tools, shop tools, and power tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Sketch-up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License

Holiday Pay & Paid Time Off: 8 Paid Holidays after 90 days of full-time employment and 40 hours of PTO after 1-year of full-time employment.
