Job Description
Provides design concepts to clients and engineers shop drawings for production. Shop drawings are primarily created using, but not limited to, AutoCAD. Proactive in researching and experimenting with new CAD technology and software. Works with Sales, Estimating, Project Management and Clients to obtain project objectives. Visits jobsites to measure and gather relative information and tracks project correspondence in Timberline Project Management
Qualifications
Seeking an experienced millwork engineering who is proficient in AutCAD to create detail shop drawings for premium residential millwork projects. Must be a skilled architectural millwork professional with a minimum of 7 years of firsthand experience as a millwork engineer, preferably with extensive hands-on cabinet making and/or installation experience. Position requires AutoCAD proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), strong problem-solving skills, strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, and a positive attitude. Position requires the ability to take a project from conceptual design through detail shop drawings, including field measuring and layout.
