Role Description The MILLWORK COMPANY/ PROJECT MANAGER is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position oversees millwork projects from initial planning through final installation, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, designers, and contractors, preparing and reviewing project documentation, and monitoring production and installation progress. The Project Manager conducts site visits, inspects work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications, and resolves issues related to logistics, materials, and timelines. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams such as engineering, fabrication, and logistics to maintain smooth workflow and clear communication across all phases of each project.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project management, specifically overseeing millwork or construction-related projects, with strong skills in Project Management and Expediting.
  • Background as an Expeditor or in expediting activities, ensuring materials, approvals, and documentation are delivered on time to support project schedules.
  • Inspection experience, including the ability to review work on-site for quality, accuracy, and adherence to drawings, codes, and client specifications.
  • Logistics Management skills, with the ability to coordinate shipments, deliveries, and installation sequences to optimize timelines and minimize disruptions.
  • Knowledge of millwork processes, materials, and shop drawings, with the ability to interpret architectural plans and technical documents.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
