Job description

We are currently seeking a General Superintendent who will take charge and efficiently lead our self-perform interior trade teams. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring that commercial interior projects in the manufacturing, industrial, and power & energy sectors are delivered safely and successfully.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely and executed in accordance with the design, budget, and schedule. With your leadership skills, you will ensure the team delivers the project on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
What You'll Do:
  • Act as the Business Unit production and productivity lead, setting the standard for work progress, planning, and safety implementation on all projects while ensuring all interior work is completed to meet Aristeo's high quality standards
  • Manage all on-site superintendents to ensure safety, project coordination, and schedules are being met
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and development to maintain the talent and expertise needed for current and future work
  • Act as an interface with Union representatives, develop positive relationships, and ensure communication of necessary skill levels for personnel
  • Manage the effective dispatch of manpower, tools, and equipment to meet and exceed the job specifications
  • Maintain knowledge of schedule and performance for all active and pending projects
  • Drive productivity and quality through the use of audits, LUA reports, coaching, etc.
  • Monitor and ensure Aristeo workers' safety; ensure all incidents are reported immediately, and support the investigation of all incidents as needed
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, provide feedback and input on best practices, and proper means and methods to meet and exceed expectations

What You'll Bring:
  • Highly organized with strong planning and analytic skills, and expert attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications
  • Ability to plan, manage, and direct supervision and tradesmen. Drive productivity and efficient use of labor, material, and equipment
  • Ability to manage all aspects of a project, including construction (technology, equipment, and methods), craft agreements and jurisdiction, schedule management, and safety requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Autodesk, and Viewpoint software

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' field supervisory experience in commercial interiors, including ground-up, tenant improvements, renovations, core & shell, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and millwork
  • 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
  • STSC Certification
  • OSHA 30
  • Have a valid chauffeur's license or higher
