We are seeking an experienced Drafter who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and enjoys being a key contributor to bringing complex millwork projects to life.

What You'll Do
As our Drafter, you will:
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Estimators to understand customer needs and project specifications.
  • Produce highly accurate construction and manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD that ensure structural integrity, job site compatibility, and ease of installation.
  • Use strong mathematical skills to calculate dimensions and verify design accuracy.
  • Select and specify correct materials and hardware, understanding their applications and limitations.
  • Review drawings with internal teams to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Apply AMI drafting standards and templates to all plans.
  • Incorporate customer revisions and changes promptly and correctly.
  • Stay up-to-date on new drafting tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Represent our company professionally and courteously at all times.
  • Work both independently and as an integral member of a collaborative drafting team.
  • Participate in occasional travel for training, continuing education, or industry seminars.
  • Support the Lead Drafter with additional duties as needed.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency with Microvellum and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using Bluebeam and PDF editing tools.
  • Solid mathematical skills for precise dimensioning.
  • Advanced CAD drafting skills, especially in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AWI, ADA, OSHA, and Allegheny Safety/Construction Standards.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Drafting or CAD certification preferred.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with CAD software.
  • 3+ years of millwork drafting experience preferred (required for remote roles).
