SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the team charged with the production of high-quality feed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supervises the production activities of feed mill team members.
  • Oversees feed ingredient sampling.
  • Verifies weights on incoming ingredients and reports any discrepancies.
  • Helps staff and train mill team members.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Required
    • High School Diploma
    • 3+ years of experience in feed mill operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor's Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Preferred
    • Previous supervisory experience.
