Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures, heavy machinery, and relevant certifications such as OSHA or confined space entry are often necessary. Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly during scheduled downtime are crucial soft skills. These abilities are essential to ensure shutdowns are executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact on production schedules.
