As a Production Worker at our San Leandro Milk Plant, you'll help ensure our milk and dairy products are produced, packaged, and delivered to the highest standards. What you will be doing
You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the milk production line. This includes operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring product quality, and ensuring safety and efficiency.
The position will be based in San Leandro, CA.
The starting salary is $26.14 hourly if an individual does not have prior dairy experience. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Main responsibilities
  • Operate production line equipment such as fillers, cappers, case packers, and conveyors.
  • Monitor equipment and product flow to ensure smooth operation and quality standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment issues to maintenance.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), plant policies, and all safety regulations.
  • Load and unload materials, stack products, and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Assist with clean-up and sanitation of equipment and work areas as needed.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

What we are searching for.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in a food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in cold, wet, and noisy environments.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions and safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and take on various production tasks as needed.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience is helpful but not required.
