Job description

Bellevue Milk Plant is looking for Production Workers. The position will be onsite and based in Bellevue, WA.

Shifts:

  • day shift (6am to 2:30pm)
  • swing shift (2pm to 10:30pm)
  • graveyard shift (10pm to 6:30am)

Competitive Wages – The pay range is $26.78 to $35.70 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage.

Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).

Main responsibilities

As a Production Worker at our milk production facility, you will be involved in various stages of the milk processing and packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, and ensuring that all products meet our strict standards for safety and freshness. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety regulations, and collaborating with your team to meet production goals. Your role is essential in delivering high-quality milk to consumers every day.

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth processing of milk.
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet safety and freshness standards.
  • Assist in the pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging of milk products.
  • Operate and maintain blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic containers for milk packaging.
  • Inspect blow-molded containers for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues, including blow mold machinery, to supervisors promptly.
  • Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products as needed.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of production and blow molding equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including blow mold operations, and report discrepancies.
