Job description

Responsibilities
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Model-Based Systems) to support one of our customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.
The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:
  • Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks.
  • Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Must have a have a master's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or a bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering/digital Engineering applications and technology is required.
  • Must have minimum of minimum of four (4) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering/Digital Engineering applications and technology.
  • Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator is required.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a US Citizen

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $128,337.00 - $141,797.00
