Job description

Responsibilities Sabre Systems is currently recruiting a Journeyman MBSE Systems Engineer for the Model-Based Systems Engineering Division to support the Common Aviation Support Equipment Program Office (PMA-260) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-260 is responsible for the procurement, development and fielding of Common Ground Support equipment and Automatic Test Equipment. The candidate will support PMA-260 efforts with model-based engineering focused on capability definition, interfaces, integration considerations, and verification readiness. Location is on-site as required. Primary Responsibilities: * Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. * Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. * Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. * Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. * Experience with MBSE practices. * Expertise in building and assessing systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and recommendations that inform key technical decisions. * Experience with systems engineering analyses and using the results with other engineering models to draw conclusions and optimize performance, schedule, timing, costs, etc. * Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle). * Requires experience with systems engineering and of model-based methodologies. * Experience with the use of modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, and UAF. Qualifications Requirements: * Must have a have a Technical BS or BA degree. * Minimum of two (2) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology. * Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator. * Familiarity with interface definition practices and verification fundamentals * Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, review-driven environment with multiple stakeholders * Active Secret security clearance or higher is required * Selected candidate must be able to pass a background investigation * Must be a US Citizen #LI-CS3 Compensation Statement At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
