As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.
We're looking for a Military Service & Installation Representative responsible for assisting Lawson's military sales force in the servicing of targeted military customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Travels 7 - 14 days at a time to install standard sets and storage products in shop bays, semi-trailers, and shipping containers.
  • Assembles items that arrived disassembled (e.g., work benches, shelving, etc.)
  • Installs standard sets and storage products in shop bays, semi-trailers, and shipping containers.
  • Installs Torrent Power Washer machines, training customers on required maintenance.
  • Inventories customer sets for refill, putting away product when it arrives.
  • Inspects and maintains product labels on customer sets.
  • Assists customers in locating the correct products in the sets required to complete maintenance repairs.
  • Works with sales reps over the phone to assess customer-assistance requirements.
  • Assists customers in the absence of the assigned sales representative, including supporting product and equipment training for product lines.
  • Shares best practices for completing installations, assisting in the development of training for sales representatives to improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Books travel arrangements, maintaining expense and mileage records in accordance with Lawson policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required, associate degree preferred, with 1 - 5 years of MRO experience in sales or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools for assembly, drilling, and cutting, including pallet jacks.
  • General knowledge of MRO items and their application.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to comprehend information from both oral and written documentation.
  • Ability to establish and create relationships at all levels, communicating effectively with customers and sales representatives.
  • Must be detailed orientated and team player.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to display and demonstrate Lawson's Values.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain and maintain vehicular insurance as required by policy.
