WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

We are seeking a Junior Content Strategist to join our Digital team to hone their craft and learn from our highly skilled group of Content Strategy, Experience Design and Technical experts.

The majority of this role will be working on a Government account in support of US Military marketing initiatives.

As a Junior Content Strategist, you will be tasked with a wide variety of assignments across the entire Digital content process. You will continually need to ask: does our campaign / experience / website effectively target our audience?

If you love the Internet, have strong writing skills and love nothing more than making sense out of large piles of information, this is the job for you. The ideal candidate will be an independent, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The role will work under the guidance of our VP, Head of Digital and will work closely with multiple departments in the agency, including Account Services, Digital Producers, Art Directors, Copywriters, Experience Designers, Developers, and other groups, to ensure the highest quality work is produced.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A four year degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong short-form writing skills
  • Excellent eye for detail, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Online writing samples (your blog or any site work)
  • Experience with Content Management software
  • Basic understanding of HTML/digital content hierarchy
  • Desire to learn best practices in SEO
  • An interest in gaining skills with stakeholder interviews
  • Desire to create effective marketing and consumer conversations

We are open to considering candidates in markets where we have office locations including: Boston, NYC, Chicago, Nashville, or Los Angeles, so long as they are able to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.

The annual salary range for this role is $49,500-65,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days. Also, you will be eligible (approximately thirty days after you commence employment) to participate in all disability, life, travel insurance plans and programs, retirement plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
