This vacancy announcement may be used to fill positions at various organizations across the Department of the Navy, including but not limited to the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).
Pay Ranges:
San Diego CA: $121,585 - $158,062 Per Year
Washington D.C.: $121,785 - $158,322 Per Year
Norfolk VA: $113,656 - $147,755 Per Year
Silverdale WA: $130,932 - $170,214 Per Year
Jacksonville FL: $106,437 - $138,370 Per Year
Pearl Harbor and Honolulu HI: $111,119 - $144,457 Per YearQualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, managing, and implementing contracts using Government contracting laws and policies; 2) Using computer operations to develop and/or analyze technical and financial reports regarding costs; 3) Applying negotiation techniques to make agreements involving contract price and terms.

NOTE: The education requirement listed above applies only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent) 1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
