Position Description
*This is a remote position*
At Proton Technologies, Inc., an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, we are looking for a Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team. The Cloud Migration Specialist manages small to mid-sized cloud and identity migration projects, focused on modernizing customer environments from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint). These projects typically include workstation migrations to Office 365, Azure AD, user and data migrations, Intune policy deployment, file server migrations to SharePoint, and assisting in the retirement of legacy servers.
The Cloud Migration Specialist serves as a primary technical contact for cloud migration workflows and works closely with Project Management, Tier 3 Engineers, and Client Management/Representatives. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Project Implementation & Client Coordination
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for cloud migration projects from kickoff through completion
- Receive and execute migration tasks defined by Project Managers, engineers, and account teams
- Provide status updates, timeline adjustments, and technical feedback throughout the migration process
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and technical issues and escalate appropriately

Requirements
2-4 years of experience with Microsoft 365 - Entra ID and Intune required; Azure and O365 migration experience; Experience with Active Directory sync to Azure Active Directory; Strong communication skills and organization skills; SharePoint migration tool experience preferred; Experience with Windows Servers and Google Cloud consoles; Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or project-based IT environment preferred
