Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Cloud Migration Architect/Specialist to design and implement strategies for migrating legacy VMs to cloud-based solutions. The role involves deploying and managing containerized applications using OpenShift and KubeVirt, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and implement migration strategies to move legacy VMs to cloud-based solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum compatibility.
โ€ข Deploy and manage containerized applications using OpenShift, and integrate KubeVirt for managing virtual machine workloads within Kubernetes.
โ€ข Perform assessments of current infrastructure and workloads to determine the best approach for cloud migration.
โ€ข Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that all aspects of the migration align with the enterprise architecture and security standards.
โ€ข Provide technical guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
โ€ข Monitor migration projects and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the process, providing solutions in a timely manner.
โ€ข Document all migration processes and configurations, creating detailed reports on project progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proven experience in cloud migrations, particularly with VMware, OpenShift, and KubeVirt technologies.
