The Pipeline segments are poised to experience significant transformation the next 5-10 years as it relates to further adoption of zero-emission technologies, automation and digitalization. This presents a unique opportunity for Rotork's business to grow it's electric and electro-hydraulic portfolio in segments where it has traditionally been underrepresented.

To drive this growth opportunity, we are looking for a Business Development Manager that will drive the Midstream Electrification Strategy across all markets.

This person needs to have a good technical understanding of Rotork's product portfolio Midstream and Pipeline segments, as well as having a strong commercial acumen to identify, develop and implement a successful "go to market" strategy.

As a business developer, this person is expected to seek and develop strong end-user relationships, both at a corporate and at a regional level, expand the sales channels to drive business growth, and understand the key elements to be competitive and differentiate in these market segments. The role is also expected to engage actively with internal stake holders such as regional sales teams, product managers, operations, supply chain and upper management.

Our ideal candidate will have proven sales and business development competencies and the ability to effect and implement sales strategies across a matrix organisation.

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements:

    • Ability to translate market requirements into products, solutions, and technical arguments for customers.
    • Experience in business development and client facing activities with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
    • An understanding of the commercial aspects of Midstream & Pipeline O&G facilities development.
    • Experience in business development, client facing activities, and sales experience in a relevant industry such as Oil & Gas.
    • Proactive orientation to customer service, with evidence of leading business development, developing competitive strategies and winning new customers.
    • Capable of planning own schedule, taking initiative for their actions, and ability to self-motivate.
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Excellent skills for using presentation (Power point) and spreadsheet (Excel) packages

    The Successful Candidate:

    • Developing and implementing effective Midstream growth strategies to midstream accounts
    • Deliver strategic direction and cascade strategic initiatives for the commercialization of Rotork's electric and electro-hydraulic actuation opportunities in the Midstream & Pipeline segments.
    • Working with Engineering teams to build product roadmap and new product delivery based on midstream customer feedback
    • Identify, initiate, and develop key Midstream accounts to grow sales, expand market presence, and strengthen Rotork's positioning.
    • Influence customer design specifications by showcasing the value of Rotork's electric and electrohydraulic actuation solutions.
    • Analyze market dynamics and create a growthoriented gotomarket plan with strong internal stakeholder alignment and program management.
    • Coordinate sales activities with the  O&G Sales Organization, including efforts with valve OEMs, skid manufacturers, channel partners, and endusers.
    • Provide market and customer intelligence to commercial teams, including product needs and insights for central functions.
    • Support Midstream trade shows and maintain effective communication with sales, operations, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
