JOB SUMMARY:

Lead the growth and development of Beaumont Manufacturing and Distribution's international distribution network. Identify, recruit, and build relationships with distribution partners and sales representatives in regions currently outside our coverage, spanning our full Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream product lines. Success in this role requires strong business development skills, familiarity with export compliance and international trade, and the ability to build manufacturer-distributor partnerships abroad while maintaining our quality-first approach.

POSITION DETAILS:

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Director

Location: U.S. based, with international travel

Type: Full-time

Travel Required: Extensive international travel required

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and evaluate international markets and territories with gaps in current distribution coverage
  • Proactively initiate contact with, qualify, and recruit new international distribution partners
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key international decision-makers across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream segments
  • Negotiate distribution agreements and onboard new international partners
  • Conduct product training and technical demonstrations for international partners
  • Research international market data to prioritize regions and set expansion objectives
  • Ensure all international sales activity complies with U.S. export control regulations and company policy
  • Attend industry events and trade shows as a company representative
  • Create and deliver tailored sales presentations and technical solutions for customersDocument sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed international revenue and partner-recruitment targets
  • Provide market intelligence and insights on international markets to internal teams
  • Comply with all safety policies when visiting distributor or customer sites
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in technical/industrial products, with prior international business development experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of products and applications across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream segments
  • Familiarity with Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream field concepts and procedures
  • Working knowledge of U.S. export compliance and international trade practices
  • Knowledge of valve sizing for application to customer products
  • Effective presentation skills for external audiences, including cross-cultural settings
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Foreign language proficiency a plus
