Your Impact

  • Lead the architecture, modernization, and operational support of EnterpriseRx and related Pharmacy platform solutions, focusing on reliability, resiliency, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring through architecture reviews, solution design, engineering standards, and best practices.
  • Lead middleware administration, platform engineering, and modernization initiatives across Pharmacy systems.
  • Design, implement, and support highly available middleware, integration, and application hosting platforms.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps, automation, cloud-first practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
  • Analyze Pharmacy systems to identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead technical design discussions and collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, development, and business teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to long-term platform strategies focused on modernization, cloud readiness, automation, and resiliency.
  • Lead resolution of highly complex platforms, middleware, and production issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for assigned platforms and automation workflows.
  • Participate in the team's 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, middleware administration, or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic, WildFly, and/or JBoss application servers
  • 5+ years of experience administering Apache or similar web server technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting, automation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • Experience with Kafka administration, producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, cloud-based solutions, and DevOps practices
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar technologies
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skill
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, manage competing priorities, and deliver results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
  • 9+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or Middleware administration experience
  • 7+ years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, and/or WildFly environments
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot applications
