Middle Support Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Vendor shall have a history of technical staff augmentation, specifically with the State of Florida. The Vendor should be proficient in supporting Linux Servers, JBoss Services, Web Applications, and Web Services. Due to the nature of the work required, it is not always possible for the assigned tasks to be carried out during standard business hours. The Vendor and recommended staff shall be able to support work on a flexible schedule (such as working during off hours), potentially to include holidays to support the goals of the Department.
• Working experience integrating and supporting the following products:
• Linux Servers
• Windows Servers
• GitLab Servers
• jBoss eap servers
• Red Hat FUSE
• Apache Camel
• Work experience with the following application development skills:
• Creating web services
• Creating API's
• Java
• JBoss
• QuartzDesk
Requirements
Potential candidate must possess the following:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of program/system analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies.
  • Experience developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience following application development best practices, including guardrails, reusable components, governance, and design standards.
  • Experience gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems
  • Experience with Enterprise Applications Integration methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming and data distribution using common data standards, middleware applications and message queuing approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
