Job Description:

Digital Thread / PLM Integration Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between PLM systems and enterprise applications. This role will focus on building robust, scalable solutions that enable seamless data exchange across the product lifecycle, supporting digital thread initiatives and model-based engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with PLM platforms, and a passion for creating efficient integration solutions.

Essential Functions:

Application Development:

  • Design and develop custom integration solutions for PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill) using APIs, middleware, and scripting.
  • Implement workflows, data transformations, and connectors to enable digital thread capabilities.

 Integration Implementation:

  • Build and maintain integrations between PLM and ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure data consistency, security, and compliance across integrated platforms.

Technical Support & Maintenance:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of integration solutions.

 Collaboration:

  • Work closely with architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for integration development.

 Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in PLM, integration frameworks, and digital manufacturing.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance automation and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in application development and system integration.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proven track record with major PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill).
  • Hands-on experience with integration technologies (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ESB, microservices).
  • Strong understanding of digital thread and MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) concepts.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, configuration management, and PLM workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex integration projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Magic Xpi integration platform or similar integration toolsets.
  • Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux operation systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with Tricentis test automation tools, including:
    • Tosca for functional test automation
    • NeoLoad for performance and load testing
