  • NJ State Certification: School Library Media Specialist -2855
  • Well read and takes measures to build a community of readers.
  • Understands the changing nature of the school library learning commons and is willing to learn about best practices.
  • Interest in digital citizenship, coding, and makerspaces.
  • Values and can navigate research in varied disciplines. Knowledge of personalized learning preferred.
  • Connects with and builds relationships with all stakeholders, including students, teachers, other media specialists, administrators, parents.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Elementary and middle school experience (Grades K-8)
  • Knowledge of the Follett Titlewave system and Google training preferred.
