Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operateย Rossย XPressionย orย Chyronย graphics systems during live and recorded television broadcasts, streaming events, and special productions.ย ย 

  • Create, update, and manage broadcast graphics, including lower thirds, full-screen graphics, over-the-shoulder graphics, tickers, and animations.ย ย 

  • Prepareย graphic elements using approved templates and branding standards.ย ย 

  • Coordinateย with producers, directors, technical staff, and newsroom personnel to ensure graphics accurately support broadcast content.ย ย 

  • Verifyย the accuracy of names, titles, statistics, and other on-air information prior toย broadcast.ย 

  • Stays abreast of the latest/new technologyย ย 

  • Operates computersย ย 

  • Completes tasks accurately and independently prior to deadline, in according with editorial and production prioritiesย ย 

  • Functions as effective member of a teamย ย 

  • May serve as a team leader, assigning work and coaching team members and reporting to management on their performanceย ย 

  • Other related duties as assignedย ย
