3pm - 1130pm M-F 

POSITION SUMMARY

Direct the operations of shipping and receiving materials into and out of our facilities. Maintenance of facilities and equipment, and direction of the personnel involved in all of these processes.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Direct the receiving of all materials and corresponding paperwork involved in this process.
  • Direct the shipping of all materials either on company or customer vehicles, and the paperwork involved.
  • Coordinate the organization and layout of warehouse facilities and grounds.
  • Perform regular inspections of the equipment and facilities to keep these safe and operational.
  • Coordinate cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance efforts as needed.
  • Supervise the personnel involved in the above processes.
  • Administrate forklift training test to new employees and to present employees on an annual basis.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety meetings under the direction of the local safety committee.
  • Conduct, with your supervisor, a minimum of semi-annual performance reviews with each employee.
  • Maintain reports and keep records as directed. To include accident reports, month-end reports, etc.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee training and cross-training as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with branch manager in taking physical inventories and recounts.
  • Manages department priorities.
  • Provides employee coaching and development.
  • Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Maintain essential processes in WMS & Dashboard
  • Manage process for quality & inventory accuracy

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify causes and implement lasting solutions.
  • Experience with supervising, motivating and training employees.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Adapt to a WMS Software & RF Capabilities.
  • Able to trouble shoot average concerns in WMS & RF gun.

EDUCATION
Two years of college or vocational training; or GED/high school diploma and related experience.


EXPERIENCE

  • Warehouse, production (manufacturing), or logistics experience.
  • WMS experience is a plus.
