In a job title, 'Mid' typically refers to a mid-level position, indicating that the role requires a moderate amount of experience—usually more than an entry-level role but less than a senior role. Mid-level professionals are expected to have a strong foundational knowledge in their field and the ability to work independently on most tasks. They may also begin taking on some leadership responsibilities, such as mentoring junior staff or managing specific projects.
