Job Summary:
Decision Technologies, Inc. is a premier engineering and intelligence services provider focused on supporting Department of Defense and Federal Government acquisition programs. They are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a large contractor team, providing software solutions and maintaining databases within an application area.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
• 3 Years experience working with software engineering
Preferred:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Certificates: Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience: 3 Years experience working with at least one of the following: Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production and/or test experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Navy/DOD policy and guidance
• System Engineering Technical Reviews
• Technology readiness and technical performance measures
• Combat Systems Integration and requirements decomposition
• Model Based Systems Engineering
• Program Protection
• Risk Management Process
