2HB Incorporated is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Description:  

2HB is seeking a candidate who shall meet the following requirements.
Required Skills:

  • Analyze user and system requirements to design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
  • Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs, service integrations, and data access components for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.
  • Support application modernization initiatives, including Spring Boot migration, database modernization, microservices, and containerization.
  • Deploy and support containerized applications in Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, technical design, and continuous process improvement.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and maintain technical documentation using Confluence and Jira.
  • Provide backup database administration support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB while cross-training across application, database, and deployment technologies to ensure operational continuity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
