Job Description

Schneider Enterprise Resources, LLC has an opening for an IT Solution Developer Lead in Green Bay, WI. Use Schneiders Agile Methodology to lead large application development designs and projects through all phases of the work. Collaborate with Architects to ensure overall architecture roadmap alignment in solution design and implementation. Design, code, unit test, system test, performance test, debug, implement, document, and support solution systems through new system development, enhancements of existing systems, or implementation of third-party products. Perform complex tasks relating to the design and development of solutions requiring design patterns, performance considerations, and supportability by others. Develop and document project design requirements that promote reuse, flexibility, scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and adherence to Schneiders software development processes and architectural standards. Lead the resolution of deployment, warranty, and post-warranty issues and defects and other domain related design or solution problems. Use Schneiders Agile Methodology to deliver user stories based on committed timeframes and provide feedback to team members and other stakeholders on defining features and user stories for future sprints. May research or recommend new technical applications or solutions to current or future use cases. Effectively work with resources from other IT groups, business groups, and vendors, regardless of location in the full software development life cycle. Participate in component and reusable designs and provide input in the designs of other developers code. Coach and lead more junior level developers in the Solution Developer role. May provide technical training to lower-level resources. Lead large application development design projects, communicate to mid management, review performances, provide direction, and influence outcomes. Telecommuting permitted two to three days per week.

Job Requirements:

The position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 7 years of relevant IT experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of relevant IT experience.

Must have work experience with:

  • Using Agile Methodology, leading application designs and projects, and providing technical direction to developers.
  • Software development with front-end (UI) and back-end services using Java and JavaScript web-based technologies.
  • Leading design and development utilizing DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Collaborating with Architects to ensure overall architecture roadmap alignment in solution design and implementation.
  • Leading Software Development Life Cycle process, including design, develop, test, implement, and support.
