Your Role:
    Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
    Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
    Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design
    Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance
    Assisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.
    Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers.
    Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
    Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
    Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
    Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
    Additional duties as required.
 

Qualifications:
    B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
    Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare facilities.
    Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software. 
    Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
    Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
    Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
    PE registration is highly preferred in New York, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years.  
    LEED AP BD+C accreditation is preferred  
    Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience. 
Pay Range: $75,000 - $115,000/yr
