Engineer (Entry-Mid-level) - Energy

BL Companies is seeking a motivated individual with 0-3 years of engineering experience to join their growing Energy Engineering team.

Our vision for this position is to provide opportunities to learn and develop engineering design skills related to energy infrastructure, including natural gas, electric, and renewable infrastructure. While prior experience in the utility or energy sectors is preferred, it is not required for this position.

Core Responsibilities Include:

· Design drawing development using CAD and Civil3D.

· Research permit requirements and local regulations.

· Coordinate with project team across multiple offices and disciplines on design, permitting and construction components.

· Subsurface utility mapping (SUE).

· Supporting development of pipeline / conduit drawings and procedure documents.

Other Potential Responsibilities May Include:

· Development of traffic management plans (TMPs / MPTs).

· Assist with preparation of technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.

· Site layout and design.

· Peer design reviews and quality control.

Required Experience:

· Position requires 0-3 years of experience.

· BS in Engineering required.

· EIT Certification preferred.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.

· Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills.
